Do you ship outside India?
International shipping is not yet available & the website is being updated to accommodate this. In the meantime, use the form to contact us.
Hey! Is shipping free on all items?
Most of our items come with free shipping. However, lower valued items or orders which are below Rs. 1000 are charged a separate shipping fee.
Are your shipping rates the same for every product or order?
No. The rates are dependent on delivery location, value of the order, weight and dimensions of the product. You’ll know the exact shipping fees during checkout.
What are your carrom boards like?
All the boards by GIZA Sports are handmade from natural products & guaranteed against manufactures defects. We offer boards for beginners to professionals to competition specific players. Every order is carefully inspected for quality & appearance.
Do you have a storefront? Can I come visit?
Our stock is warehoused in various locations in Bangalore, India. Our only storefront is the one you see here. However, we also sell on several other popular marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay, Snapdeal, Paytm, Trade India, Indiamart, Shopclues, Google Shopping, Facebook shopping, etc.
Do you have any carrom resources?
Yes & it’s constantly growing. We want to help you understand & enjoy the game of carrom, so we have provided several online resources. There are worldwide clubs listings. Why are our boards more expensive than on some other sites or stores?
First and foremost, we sell only the highest quality boards. Our specialty is true professional equipment, not the cheaply made boards you can find in many stores. As always, you get what you pay for.
Secondly, shipping by ground is included in all most of our carrom board combo prices, no matter where you are in India. There is no additional cost for shipping (TnC apply) and we take great care in ensuring the board is packaged properly and will not arrived damaged.
You may find similar carrom boards on the web that are less costly, some with model names like “Tournament” and “Professional.” But all Indian boards are not the same and their names may not reflect their quality. In addition, all our boards are water resistant and the finish on both frame and playing surface is guaranteed to be the highest quality.
Most important of all, we inspect every board to ensure that it meets our specifications. We apply a straight edge to every playing surface to check for flatness, warpage and twist. Any variation beyond normal parameters (1-1.5mm) results in rejection or reclassification as an “irregular” piece to be sold at a discount. As discerning, competitive players ourselves, we are committed to providing only the finest carrom equipment, chosen for superior playing characteristics and attention to detail.
Please note, however, that all our products are hand made in India and are subject to cosmetic and structural flaws, most commonly at the corner joints. As a result, there is no such thing as a “perfect piece.” Cracks, dings, stains, and other irregularities in the finish are not uncommon, especially on the frames and at the corners. Boards with more substantial flaws are sold with a “second-quality” or “blemished” discount. Please call or email with any questions.
Why do you not offer Cash/Pay on Delivery (COD/POD)?
Our shipping costs are very high owing to the weight of our products, they could be anything from 5kg to 70kg. If a customer refuses to accept a COD order delivered by our shipping partners to their doorstep then we lose a lot of money. To avoid such situations we have decided against offering COD option
